Basic Research and Other External Research

GRANDER® always observes relevant developments in the field of water research closely to stay up to date with the latest findings in the field. International researchers are invited to collaborate in or discuss selected projects.

Findings from the third pillar are used to further develop the first and second pillars. Overall, the ‘Watertight’ concept strives for the highest degree of objectivity (intersubjective verifiability) possible, which is why the concept is based on three pillars. Every new finding is a building block based on which existing knowledge is revisited.

WETSUS is a European center of excellence for sustainable water technology and facilitates trendsetting know-how development. WETSUS creates a unique environment and offers strategic cooperation to foster the development of profitable and sustainable state-of-the-art water treatment technology.

Applied Water Physics

‘Water is undoubtedly the most important chemical substance of this world. Despite this, and in spite of the fact that it is practically ubiquitous, it still represents one of the best explored and yet least understood substances. When looking deeper into the field, it turns out that there is much special but little general knowledge.

Revitalization Medium versus Information Water

The following article explores the historic development of the terminology and definitions of GRANDER® water revitalization, e.g. regarding the revitalization medium (previously often referred to as ‘information water’) as a process factor.

Cees Buisman is Scientific Director at Wetsus and Professor for Biological Recovery and Reuse Technology. He was appointed professor at Wageningen University (NL) in the Environmental Technology department, where he works on biological reuse and recovery technologies.

Water Symposium – Research and Speakers
